IV. Feeding Program

We feed a variety of high quality Seminole feeds which are milled right here in Ocala and trusted by the top race horse and performance horse farms in the Florida. There are three feed stores located within 2 miles from the farm and any type of feed, supplies and medicines are readily available for your horse. Coastal Bermuda hay is offered to all retirees, unless special needs require mixed hay or Alfalfa.

Care

Every Thursday each horse is groomed and pampered. They are brushed; their hooves are picked and they get bathed if the weather permits. The retired horses are wormed every two months and we will discuss equine dentistry and vaccinations with each owner. New boarders must show proof of current coggins and vaccinations before arriving at the farm.
